Unlike many other security devices, the Ghost 2 Immobiliser does not rely on LED indicators or key fobs. Instead, it integrates directly with your vehicle’s CAN (Control Area Network) system and protects it through the entry of a unique PIN code of your choice. This PIN is programmed into the vehicle using a sequence of buttons on the steering wheel or dashboard, creating a personalised pattern that must be entered before the vehicle can be started.

Over the past decade, thieves have increasingly targeted vehicles by hacking the OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) port to bypass traditional security systems. However, the Ghost Immobiliser is completely undetectable by diagnostic tools, as it emits no radio signals. It’s important to note that while many people search for a “Ghost Alarm,” the Ghost is strictly an immobiliser — not an alarm system.

For added convenience, the Ghost Immobiliser also offers an Apple and Android smartphone app, allowing you to disarm the system via Bluetooth without entering your PIN. The app connects automatically when you are within a 5–10 metre range of your vehicle, making the system both secure and hassle-free.
