1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with NVX Vehicle Security (via our website, telephone, message, or any other method), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your purchase and contact us directly.

References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean NVX Vehicle Security.
References to “you” or “the customer” mean the individual or entity purchasing our products or services.

These terms apply to all purchases without exception.

  • The content on our website is provided for general information only and may be updated or changed at any time without notice.

  • While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances.

  • Any reliance on information provided by NVX Vehicle Security is entirely at your own risk.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that any product or service purchased meets your requirements.

  • Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any product or service without liability.

  • All website content, including design, layout, graphics, and text, is owned or licensed by NVX Vehicle Security and may not be reproduced without written permission.

  • Unauthorised use of this website may result in legal action.

  • Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not endorse or accept responsibility for their content.

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Consumer Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 only if installation has not been scheduled.

Once an installation date has been booked within this 14-day period, you acknowledge that you are waiving your right to a full cancellation. Any cancellation after booking will be subject to the fees outlined below.

Refunds (where applicable) are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 working days to appear, depending on bank processing times.

Cancellation Fees

  • Cancellation after installation is booked:
    £50 (inc. VAT)

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment:
    £80 (inc. VAT)

Product Returns

  • Refunds are issued only once returned items are received by us in original packaging, unused, and in resaleable condition.

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.

  • If returned items are damaged, incomplete, or unsuitable for resale, no refund will be issued and items may be returned to you at your expense.

  • Any outbound shipping costs (including “free” shipping) may be deducted from your refund.

4. Installation Requirements & Conditions

To proceed with installation:

  • You (or your representative), the vehicle, and any supplied stock must be available on arrival.

  • Engineers may wait up to 15 minutes. Failure to proceed will result in cancellation and an £80 (inc. VAT) fee.

  • Vehicles must be parked in a safe, legal, and suitable location. Public roads or unsafe environments may result in cancellation.

  • All doors, including the boot, must open fully without obstruction.

  • Indoor locations must be adequately lit.

  • The vehicle must:

    • Have a sufficiently charged battery

    • Be able to start and drive

    • Be free from major electrical faults

    • Have intact interior panels and dashboard

If the vehicle condition is unsuitable, installation may be cancelled with an £80 (inc. VAT) fee.

Weather & Scheduling

  • Mobile installations are weather-dependent. If safe installation is not possible and suitable shelter is unavailable, appointments may be rescheduled.

  • Installation times are estimates only and may vary due to vehicle complexity, location, or stock availability.

  • If we cannot complete installation within a reasonable timeframe, you may request a refund (subject to these terms).

Complex Vehicles & Immobilisation

  • Certain vehicles (including EVs, hybrids, supercars, and rare models) may require additional labour or may not support immobilisation.

  • Any additional costs will be discussed before confirmation.

  • If installation is not possible, you may choose either:

    • A refund of the immobilisation element, or

    • A full refund

5. Installation Liability & Sub-Contractors

  • NVX Vehicle Security is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control.

  • All customers must inspect their vehicle immediately after installation. Any concerns must be raised before the engineer leaves.

  • We may use approved sub-contracted engineers who carry their own insurance.

  • Any disputes or claims relating to sub-contractor workmanship must be raised directly with them.

  • NVX Vehicle Security accepts no liability for disputes between customers and sub-contractors.

6. Faults, Repairs & Call-Outs

  • In the event of product or installation faults:

    • You must allow us reasonable access (normally up to 14 days) to inspect or rectify the issue.

    • We are not liable for compensation unless we have been given reasonable opportunity to repair.

7. Warranty

  • Trackers: 3-year warranty

  • All other products: 1-year warranty

Warranty does not cover:

  • Vehicle faults

  • User error or misuse

  • Tampering or third-party interference

  • Wear items (e.g. batteries, fobs)

If a warranty call-out determines the issue is not related to our product or workmanship, a £80 (inc. VAT) call-out fee applies.

Vehicle Manufacturer Warranty

  • We use industry-approved installation methods, including Thatcham-approved techniques.

  • It is your responsibility to confirm that installation does not affect your vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.

  • NVX Vehicle Security accepts no liability for warranty restrictions or invalidations imposed by vehicle manufacturers.
